Giyur גיור:

• Mazal Tov to Liza [Elisheva] and Idan Harush on the successful completion of Liza's Giyyur, and on their upcoming marriage. Deepest thanks for their help and support to Jenny and Yehezkel Kartin who accompanied them through the entire process. The Kartins wish the young couple a big Mazal Tov and much happiness.

• Save the date. Shul Chanuka party. Monday 19th December, 17:30-19:30 (2nd night chanuka). Entertainment, music and refreshments *for all ages*. We will also be joined by participants of the conversion program. Stay tuned for more details and sign up sheet- coming soon!
• Shul food services. Anyone wishing to use the shul kitchen facilities for a private event, MUST obtain permission from the board by writing president@bermanshul.org. To book and plan a Kiddush, contact jbogdansky@gmail.com. These are the only people who are authorized to handle your requests.
• Jointly sponsored Yahrtzeit kiddush - Kislev. The Kislev JSK will be held on December 3rd, Parashat Vayetzei. To participate in the kiddush, please contact Judd Bogdansky (jbogdansky@gmail.com) no later than this coming Monday, November 28th. Participation: 150 NIS per person memorialized. • Mix it up Shabbat. It is once again time for our annual MIX-IT-UP Shabbat! Our community has been joined by many new faces this past year, and we are thrilled to be able to once again welcome our new members with a kiddush in their honor. This year, the kiddush and the MIX-IT-UP meals will take place on the same Shabbat. On Shabbat December 10, Parshat Vayishlach, members, old and new, will get a chance to get to know each other over a MIX-IT-UP Shabbat lunch. Everyone interested in being "MIXED UP" for a Shabbat meal please RSVP by filling out this form NO LATER THAN Sunday November 27. We will match individuals and families, and together you will decide who is hosting and who will be hosted. Name tags will be provided to registered members, and to “candidates" who have registered an interest to join the shul. • High holiday survey. To better serve the Berman community in our Yamim Noraim minyanim in the future, the Board sent everyone an anonymous survey about your experience during the chagim. Detailed feedback from as many participants as possible will increase the survey's efficacy and provide the Board with the information needed to better plan for the future.
