• Membership renewal. All members should have received a personal email with information regarding membership renewal. If you did not receive the letter, please verify that your mail-box isn't full, and check your Spam and Updates folders in case your email mis-filed itself. For non members and others who didn’t receive a personal email, a generic copy of the letter may be found on the Noticeboard, and the reservation form is available here: https://www.bermanshul.org/rhform. The form requests you to log in first if possible. For existing members, your login ID is the email address we have registered for you, even if you no longer use the account for your email. Use the "forgot my password" if necessary - though this will only work if you can still receive email to your registered address. Even if you cannot log yourself in, your spouse may still be able to log in and change your email address and/or password. As a final resort, please request help by email to webmaster@bermanshul.org. Those wishing to join the shul, can preregister here: https://www.bermanshul.org/register.php and then use their new ID to log in. You will be contacted to complete the membership process.

• Rosh Hashana in the time of Corona:
  1-There will be at least one open-air shofar blowing on Sunday morning (probably between 10 - 11 AM) on the Yeshiva Campus for those unable to attend any of the minyanim
  2- We will have no reserved seats for any of the minyanim. We will run several minyanim in multiple locations, with details pending final Corona restrictions. This remains a work in progress and we will update the Community as soon as we can. 
  3- The Halacha Committee has proposed some options to shorten Rosh Hashanah davening to approximately 2 hours. Please see their letter posted on the Noticeboard or here. 
  4- Attendees should not move between minyanim – this to avoid the need for extensive quarantine within the community should someone from one of the minyanim test positive for Corona after the Chag
  5- If you are aware of a satellite minyan being organized that is accommodating 20 or more shul members, please let Pennina Safer know, so that we can better manage our capacity to meet the needs of the community.
• Mechael Kanovsky's Sunday evening shiur in Tehillim has moved to 7:00 PM. Zoom details on the calendar.
• Urgently needed- Shlichei Tzibbur for the Yamim Noraim (coaching provided). Due to projected necessity to hold several indoor and outdoor minyanim, the Shul needs more Baalei Tefilla to daven before the amud. Currently, we project a shortage of baalei Tefilla available and willing to help out this year. Anyone interested in participating as a “Chazan Rishon (Mussafim on R”H and Y’K, Kol Nidre night night & Neilah) or Chazzan Sheni (Shacharit and Mincha on R’H and Y”K) over the Yamim Noraim or as a Ba’al Tokeah, should please be in touch with Daniel Schwartz at cantordbsesq@gmail.com. If it’s a been while since you last davened as a chazzan on the Yamim Noraim, Daniel is available to coach people in Nussach.
• Help needed for conversion candidates! During these days of social distancing it has become almost impossible to find families that are willing to help conversion students.
