• The board reminds the membership that, to protect the privacy of our members, there are restrictions on the use of the shul membership list (these rules apply equally to the printed, .pdf, and website versions). The shul list may be used for personal and social activities (eg to invite someone for a shabbat meal, to check your host's address etc), but may not be used to promote any business or political activity (thus, you may not use the list to obtain phone numbers or email addresses for use in any political campaign, to promote a business, or for other commercial purposes). Nevertheless, members may advertise in the Basement section of the Bulletin (within reason) to inform readers of goods or services for sale. Finally, the shul's name may not be used in a way that implies endorsement of any product or political party.
