Yonah and his family are grateful to finally celebrate at Bermans with his grandparents, Alan and Edie Appel from Wynnewood PA, and with his aunt and uncle, Toby and Tommy Kerkes from Jerusalem. They would also like to acknowledge Yonah's grandparents Richard and Carol Bronowitz, who could not be in attendance.

• Rabbi Frimer's Shiur on Tefilla (Shabbat morning after davening) will not take place this week.
• Mikva appeal-Get ready...The ad hoc Berman Shul Mikva Committee is getting ready to send out a special email to launch our Berman Shul Team Campaign, as part of a large city-wide effort to raise the necessary funds to complete the long awaited, new Mikva HaMada! The entire campaign will only last 3 days, from Sunday Erev Chanuka 28.11 until Tuesday 30.11. So please, look out for the e-mail coming after Shabbat, and get ready to be part of this super important endeavour and donate generously!
• Shul Chanuka event on Monday 29th of November. Outdoor event. Looking forward to seeing all those who signed up for the Berman Chanuka party (Monday Nov 29 at 5.15pm). We request that people light chanuka candles at home prior to the event. Lantern making begins at 5.15pm. If you have signed up for lantern making but have not paid, please pay to our Paybox group https://bit.ly/berman-chanukah. (cost NIS 50 for anyone coming without a reservation). There will be outdoor Maariv starting around 6pm, and then a communal candle lighting followed by live music, pizza and donuts. The Nativ conversion program will be joining our event and there will be a short chanuka shiur for them and anyone else interested, after communal candle lighting.
• הנכם מוזמנים להדלקת נרות חגיגית בחסות קהילת ברמן. מצפים לראות את כל מי שנרשם למסיבת החנוכה של ברמן (ביום שני, 29 לנובמבר). נא הגיעו לאחר שתדליקו נרות חנוכה בביתכם. פעילות הכנת העששיות תתחיל בשעה 17:15. אם נרשמתם לפעילות וטרם שילמתם, אנא הסדירו את התשלום בקבוצת הפייבוקס הייעודית לכך https://bit.ly/berman-chanukah. במידה ולא נרשמתם מראש התשלום הוא 50 ש"ח בערב האירוע. תפילת ערבית בשעה 18:00 ברחבה בחוץ, ולאחר מכן הדלקת נרות קהילתית משותפת, מלווה במוסיקה, פיצה וסופגניות. המשתתפים בקורס הגיור של נתיב יצטרפו לאירוע, וכל מי שמעוניין יכול גם להצטרף לשיעור שלהם בנושא חנוכה שיתקיים לאחר הדלקת הנרות המשותפת. מצפים לראותכם!

We are also looking for parents to volunteer to organize HYPAL for the rest of the season, to sponsor pizza, and to give divrei Torah; please contact Ori Brill or Omri Flicker.
