Bereavement and Memorial זיכרון ושכול

  • The first azkara for our dear Nechama Siegal ז"ל, mother of Molly Bodner, will take place Tuesday, the 28th of November  (10th of Kislav, 5778) at the Rehovot Cemetery. Family and friends will gather at 16:00 at the Rehovot cemetery entrance.

SHUL ACTIVITIES, EVENTS AND REMINDERS תזכורות, אירועים ופעילויות של בית הכנסת

  • The south-east gates to the Yeshiva (including the swivel gate) near the basketball court will be locked on Shabbat. The only access from the east side of the campus will be via the Ram"im gate.
  • השערים הדרום מזרחיים ליד מגרשי כדור הסל, לרבות השער היציאה המסתובב, יהיו נעולים בשבת. הכניסה והיציאה ייתאפשרו משער הר״מים בלבד.
  • **This week!!** The second of our annual "MIX IT UP!" Shabbatot - Kiddush will be sponsored by the shul in honor of our new members. We are also planning to distribute name tags prepared for all members, which you may optionally affix to your clothing. Non-Berman members are invited to receive a name tag by registering here. Additional "Fun Facts" about our new members may be found on the Noticeboard.  
  • **השבוע!!** הקידוש בחסות בית הכנסת לכבוד החברים החדשים. יחלקו תגיות עם שמות חברי בית הכנסת שניתן יהיה להדביק על הבגד. מי שאינו חבר בית הכנסת יכול לקבל תגית על ידי רישום פה. עובדות משעשעות על החברים החדשים אפשר למצוא בלוח מודעות.

  • The AGM is coming...save the date. The annual membership meeting (AGM) will take place on Motzaei Shabbat January 20, 2018 at 8:00 PM. Materials for the meeting will be published on the "members only" page in early January.

  • Please join us in preparing Friday night dinner for lone soldiers on Dec 1st! The Lone Soldier Center in memory of Michael Levin provides various services to lone soldiers serving in the IDF, including holiday and Shabbat meals. On December 1, the Rehovot community has the זכות to prepare Shabbat dinner for these brave young men and women. As 50 soldiers are expected for dinner (which will take place in Givat Shmuel), we welcome participation from as many people as possible. Please sign up on the attached Google doc, indicating what you can make or buy, and providing your contact information. Drop-off information is on the doc as well. If you have any questions, please contact Racheli at 058-600-7802 or Aviva at 054-397-1693. Please share this with anyone you think might be interested.
