- The Bermans Community has been blessed with many new families in the last several years. To help the older members (“vatikim”) and newcomers get to know each other, we are planning two consecutive special Shabbatot. Newcomers who are interested in being invited and vatikim who are interested in hosting (or vice versa) should email hospitality@bermanshul.org. We will attempt to match families by neighborhood, occupation and/or country/city of origin. The following Shabbat (Nov. 14), Shabbat Toldot, the Kiddush will be sponsored by the shul in honor of our new members. We will use the opportunity to encourage additional interactions between older and newer members.
