• Beit Midrash Le'tanach will have its next lecture (in Hebrew) on Monday February 24th at 20:00 at Beit Yad Lebanim Rechov Habanim 10. For more information: Rami Shaanani.
• המפגש הקרוב של בית המדרש לתנ'ך יתקיים ב24.2.20 יום שני, כ"ט בשבט תש"פ, בשעה 20:00 בבית יד לבנים. המרצה: ד"ר יושי פרג'ון בנושא: מגילה בגולה: עיון בפאן הגלותי של מגילת אסתר.
• ESRA Rehovot. On Wednesday, March 4, join ESRA Rehovot in a virtual trip to Ethiopia when Mimi Tanaman takes us to “Ethiopia – a World of Difference.” In 2018 Mimi accompanied 13 teenagers (all born in Israel) on a ‘roots’ trip to Ethiopia. The emotional meetings with family members, trips to places that had once been thriving Jewish communities and now have empty, crumbling synagogues, the visit to the ancient Christian town of Lalibella, unique baboons in Simien National Park, and encounters with Ethiopian schoolchildren, all make for a riveting slide presentation and talk. Mimi made Aliya from Brooklyn, New York at age 18. She ‎completed BA and MA studies in Psychology at the Hebrew ‎University, Jerusalem, after which she toured the country in a bluegrass ‎band, and eventually established her own translation and ‎copywriting company (which is still active over 20 years later). ‎Today she is ESRA’s pro-bono copywriter.‎ Venue: Havayot Schweitz, 1 Kronenberg, Rehovot. 19:30 Light Refreshments, 20:00 Presentation. • Genealogy lecture- There will be a lecture, in English, on Wednesday 26th February at 19.30 (doors open 7pm), One Person, Three Fathers. The speaker will be Diane Brog of Kibbutz Ein Tsurim The lecture will take place in the Schmidt Hall, Weizmann Institute of Science. Diane, who grew up in England, will tell us of her personal journey and search for her family origins, including anecdotes from Spain and France, until she finally came to check out this country…and stayed. Entrance free. All welcome.
• There is a new "keilim" Mikva for metal and glass items. It is located at Derech Yerushalaim 2, next to the Stock Store. It is clean and convenient, especially but not exclusively for purchases from the store. Open during daylight hours.

• Teenage help wanted. I'm looking for an approx. 14 y.o. boy who understands and loves soccer to play with my 11 y.o. son, Effie, once or twice a week from 16:30 for an hour or two each time.
