• Donate your [un-opened] Chametz. Unopened non-perishable Chametz may be donated to Yad leNisim, who will sell and store it for distribution to the needy after Pesach. Dropbox in Hagra 1, other locations on flier here.
• Maot Hittim. The Zedaka Committee wishes to remind everyone to send in their donations for Maot Hittim as soon as possible. Please be generous and send your contributions this week, so we can reach out to people before the Chag. For donations up to 1,800 ILS, please submit your Maot Hittim donations by credit card using the Berman’s online form (Hebrew/English). Under “Select a project”, choose Maot Hittim (you will receive an instant automatic receipt). Note, donations 1,800 ILS and up can either use the above credit card option OR choose direct bank transfer (reduced transaction fees; receipts are prepared manually and will be sent out within the week). Dear Berman Family, to commemorate the memory of our son Nitai, HY”D, we are raising funds for a bulletproof ambulance (Nitai was an MDA volunteer for many years). Shiurim and lectures שיעורים והרצאות:

• Shabbat Hagadol Drasha by Rabbi Aryeh Frimer: "Chad Gadya: The Lovable Song You Thought You Knew." Assuming you know the story line of Chad Gadya, no Haggada is required.
• First day Chag after Kiddush: Lecture in English by Stefan Thompson ("Beyond anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism - the war for the West and our values"). Thompson is founder and CEO of Visegrád 24, one of the most popular X (Twitter) accounts on the Middle East with nearly one million followers. At a time when world opinion is highly critical of Israel in the wake of Israel's war against Hamas terrorists in the Gaza strip, his platform is unabashedly pro-Israel. He was recently honored by Israeli Minister of Diaspora Affairs Amichai Chikli in Jerusalem for all the pro-Israel work that he and his team are doing.
• The 7th annual memorial lecture for Chaya Levmore Tannor z"l will take place on Wednesday, 8 May (30 Nissan) at 20:00. The speaker will be Rav Benny Lau, who will speak in Hebrew on על המר והמתוק - ההבדל בין חכמי ארץ ישראל לחכמי בבל
