• The Tisha beAv fast this year is deferred (Nidheh) from Shabbat and begins Motsaei Shabbat August 10th. This engenders a variety of changes in practice on Shabbat and Sunday. On the Noticeboard you will find "Tisha beAv Nidheh 5779: Halachic guidelines ..." prepared by Rabbi Aryeh Frimer.
• השנה, צום ט' באב נדחה מיום שבת ומתחיל במוצ"ש ה-10 באוגוסט. כתוצאה, ישנם מספר שינוים בנוהג ביום שבת וכן ביום א'. ניתן להוריד את המדריך "ט' באב נדחה תשע"ט: הנחיות הלכתיות" אשר הוכן ע"י הרב אריה פרימר מלוח המודעות המקוון של בית הכנסת. בית הכנסת מאחל לכל הצמים צום קל ומועיל.
• Jointly Sponsored Yahrtzeit Kiddush. The Av JSK will be held on August 10th, Parashat Devarim. To participate in the kiddush, please contact Judd Bogdansky (jbogdansky@gmail.com) no later than this Sunday, August 4th. Participation: 150 NIS per person memorialized. Judd confirms all emails he receives; if you do not hear back, please follow up.
• קידוש משותף לימי זיכרון אב. הקידוש המשותף לציון ימי זיכרון (יארצייט) של חודש אב יתקיים בשבת פרשת דברים, 10 באוגוסט. אם ברצונך להשתתף נא ליצור קשר עם ג'וד בוגדנסקי (jbogdansky@gmail.com) לא יאוחר מיום ראשון, 4 באוגוסט. השתתפות: 150 ש'ח לכל שם. ג'וד מאשר קבלה לכל הודעת דוא"ל שהוא מקבל, אך היו מקרים שהודעות שנשלחו אליו לא התקבלו. אם לא קיבלתם מענה, אנא צרו עמו קשר שוב.
• Please update member details. With the Yamim Noraim approaching, now would be a good time for you to check that your details are correct on the shul website. An immediate benefit of having correct details is that we will be able to send you personalised email to facilitate renewing your membership and signing up for high-holiday seats. Your login ID is the email address we have registered for you, even if you no longer use the account for your email. Use the "forgot my password" if necessary - though this will only work if you can still receive email to your registered address.
