SHUL ACTIVITIES, EVENTS AND REMINDERS​

• Thank you and Yasher Koach! to the gabbaim, chazanim, shofar blowers, choir, and all those who contributed to meaningful tefillot on Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur (and year-round!). Thank you, as well, to all the tireless workers who helped behind the scenes to organize the minyanim, set up the rooms, deal with air-conditioners (and air-conditioner surprises) and seating, and clean up after the services.
• Succah hospitality. Anyone in need of an invitation for Sukkot and anyone willing to host, please contact the Hospitality Committee
• Wanted- Women/older girls to give a d'var Tora on Simchat Torah. Lookng for two women to give short (~5-8 min) Divrei Torah for women on SImchat Torah morning, while the men are repeatedly reading וזאת הברכה. English or Hebrew is fine, preferably one in each language.  Volunteers should please contact Chaya Tannor. 
• Please supervise your kids. We have had several cases of young children who have (temporarily) gone missing. The shul is not a playground, and parents are asked to ensure that their children do not remain in the building at the end of services (except for the Mibreishit shiur). Thank you for your cooperation.
• From the assistant treasurer. Looking for the person who passed me a NIS 150 cash donation for the shul, and has not received a receipt. The receipt is ready, but the assistant  cannot remember the identity of the contact person. The donation itself came from someone with the initials J.B. (we don't have direct contact info). [Before you laugh, consider how many donations our volunteer treasurers have had to deal with over the last few weeks- one wayward receipt is pretty good -ed.]
• Short chug for young elementary age (from age 7) kids to learn to lead Anaim Zemirot taught by Avital Beer. Three sessions on Oct 29, Nov. 5, and Nov 12th, immediately after the Parashat HaShavua shiur on Shabbat morning. For more information, contact Avital at beer.avital@gmail.com.
