  • We are grieved to announce the passing of our member Annice Grinberg z"l, the wife of our member Ira Grinberg. The funeral took place on Sunday, 15.7, at the Rehovot cemetery. The family is sitting shiva at the Grinberg home, 13/8 Chava Lutsky, through Friday afternoon, 20.7. The number there is 08-947-5510, and Ira's cell phone is 052-289-1865. Davening times are: Shacharit: 6:15, Mincha: 19:35, Ma'ariv: 20:05. Mincha on Friday at 13:30. המקום ינחם אותם בתוך שאר אבלי ציון וירושלים, ומן השמים יינחימו.

  • The Tisha beAv fast this year is deferred (Nidheh) from Shabbat and begins Motsaei Shabbat 21st July. This engenders a variety of changes in practice on Shabbat and Sunday. On the Noticeboard you will find "Tisha beAv Nidheh 5778: Halachic guidelines ..." prepared by Rabbi Aryeh Frimer.
  • השנה, צום ט' באב נדחה מיום שבת ומתחיל במוצ"ש ב-21 ביולי. כתוצאה, ישנם מספר שינוים בנוהג ביום שבת וכן ביום א'. ניתן להוריד את המדריך "ט' באב נדחה תשע"ח: הנחיות הלכתיות" אשר הוכן ע"י הרב אריה פרימר מלוח המודעות המקוון של בית הכנסת. בית הכנסת מאחל לכל הצמים צום קל ומועיל.
  • Beit Midrash Nishmat Chaya. There will be no shiurim in the Beit Midrash during the month of August. The last shiur for this year will be on Tuesday 24 July The next shiur will take place on Tuesday 4 September
  • בית מדרש נשמת חיה. בית המדרש יוצא לחופשה בחודש אוגוסט. השיעור אחרון השנה יהיה ביום שלישי 24 יולי השיעור הראשון אחרי החופשה יתקיים ביום שלישי 4 בספטמבר.
  • Torah readers needed for all parshiot for 5779. To volunteer, please contact Rami Shanani for the main minyan, or Moshe Appel for the Hashkama minyan.

  • **UPDATED SCHEDULE**Weekly shabbat shiur (Midreshet Shabbat) (in Hebrew) in the Yeshiva Beit Midrash, before mincha. Corrected and updated schedule here. For Shabbat Chazon, erev Tisha Be'Av, Parshat Devarim (July 21), the shiur will start at 17:00, one hour before mincha.
