• Mazal Tov!! to Rivka and Steve Kronengold and to Jeanette and Dunn Rabinowitz on the birth of a grandson, a son to their children Miriam and Yehuda Kronengold of Petach Tikva. Both Miriam and baby are doing well.
• Mazal Tov to Ziva and Yaakov Amitai on the birth of  a granddaughter, Ariel Chen, daughter to their children Mori and Morin Amitai.

• Mazal Tov to Martha and Seymour Pomerantz on the birth of a great grandson, born to their granddaughter Havatzelet and her husband Moshe Chelouche of Jerusalem. Mazal Tov to grandparents Michael and Toby Pomerantz of Maaleh Adumim. 
• Mazal Tov to Honey and Yehuda Berenson on the birth of a great granddaughter born to Tsurit and Benayahu Mula of Elon Moreh. Mazal Tov as well to grandparents Shlomit and Rav Nachum Berenson of Nahariya and Shosh and Rav Yitzchak Mula of the Yeshivat Hadarom community in Rehovot.

Bar/Bat Mitzva:

• Mazal Tov to Molly and Heshi Bodner and Audrey and Fred Samuels on the Bar Mitzvah of their grandson Elnatan Haim, son of Batsheva and Mati Goldstein of Movo Horon. Mazal Tov to the entire extended Samuels, Goldstein and Bodner families.

Engagements and Wedding:

• Mazal Tov to Sara and Dan Feigelson on the engagement of their daughter Hadas to Yaacov Gershon, son of Marilin and Isaac Gershon, of Netanya.

Bereavement and Memorial:

• We are saddened to announce the passing of Mrs. Gloria Mound z'l, the mother of our member Ruth Rechtschaffen. The funeral took place on Monday Jan 30th in Gan Yavne. Ruth is sitting shiva at home until Sunday morning, joined by her brother. The address is Chish 37/1, Rehovot, and the phone number there is 08-9459176. Shacharit 6:30 AM, Mincha 17:05, Maariv 17:35. Friday Mincha 13:00, Maariv Motzaei Shabbat 17:50. 
• The unveiling of the Matzeva of Sidney Beer z"l, father of Leo Beer, will take place on Friday, 3.2.17 at 10:00 a.m. at the Rehovot cemetery at Section samech, Row 17.

• Azkara for Rachel and Lenny Garfinkel. The azkarah marking Rachel's z"l 20th yahrzeit and Lenny's z"l 12th yahrzeit will take place at the Rehovot cemetery, IY"H, on Friday, 10 February/14 Shevat at 10:30am. The children and extended family  - both here and abroad - continue to be touched and comforted by the community's loyalty to Rachel's and Lenny's memories over all the years

• The community is invited to Tu Bishvat Orange Picking on Friday, February 10, 2017, 10:00-14:00, at the orange grove across the street from the Hatov V'Hameitiv Farm in Rehovot. WAZE: Leket-Israel Schiller. When you get close, there will be signs directing you to the exact location. Suitable for all ages, and no tree or ladder climbing required.
• הינכם מוזמנים לקטיף תפוזים לכבוד ט"ו בשבט אשר יתקיים ביום שישי, 10.2.2017 בין השעות 10:00 - 14:00 בפרדס מול חוות הטוב והמטיב ברחובות. ב- WAZE - לקט ישראל שילר. שילוט לכיוון הפרדס יופיע קרוב לחווה. 
• One woman play [in English], Hormonallaneous, by Meitav Zur on Sunday night Feb 12th 20:30-21:20. Details on the  Noticeboard.  Play is free, but advance registration required via Mechael Kanovsky.
• Help wanted: Mini-Minyan coordinator. We are seeking a parent to run the Mini Minyan, including the purchasing of snacks and handling of payments to the teenage madrichim (all from the shul budget). Contact Elana Bogdansky at 054-664-1339 for more information and to volunteer.

• Combined Kislev/Tevet/Shevat Jointly Sponsored Yahrtzeit Kiddush. The Kislev/Tevet/Shevat JSK will be held on February 11th Parashat Beshalach. To participate in the kiddush, please contact Judd Bogdansky no later than Sunday February 5th. Participation: 150 NIS per person.

• Megilla Readers wanted. Readers are still wanted for the second reading of Megillat Esther on Purim night, as well as for the reading at Havayyot. Young volunteers are especially encouraged. Please contact Moshe Appel if interested.

• Torah readers needed for parshiot in Sefer Vayikra and Sefer Bamidbar. To volunteer, please contact Rami Shaanani for the main minyan.

• Volunteers needed to give Divrei Torah for parshiot in Sefer Vayikra. Reserve now, while a wide choice of parshiot still remains. Please contact Mechael Kanovsky.
