• [More] Thank yous. Thank you to the Sukka crew, under the direction of Jacob & Lizzy Silvermetz, who planned, erected, and strengthened the sukkah, and all those who came to help with the decorations, under the organization of Batya Gross. Thank you as well to Judd Bogdansky and his kiddush staff headed by Yitzchak Kanovsky who have been preparing two kiddushes per week for >500 people, and this month alone fed us almost 100 kgs of fruit and vegetables, over 70 kgs of cake and cookies, and over 700 liters of water and soft drinks, in addition to herring, ice pops, and other edibles.
• (עוד) תודות. תודה רבה לצוות הסוכה, בניהולם של ג'ייקוב & ליזי סילברמץ, שתכננו, בנו וחיזקו את הסוכה, וכל אלו שהביאו קישוטים, בארגונה של בתיה גרוס. תודה נוספת לג'ד בוגדנסקי וצוות הקידוש בראשותו של יצחק קנובסקי, שהאכילו  500< אנשים החודש בשני קידושים כל שבוע, והחודש הזה בלבד סיפקו  כ100 ק"ג ירקות, יותר מ70 ק"ג עוגות וכ 700 ליטר מים ושתייה קלה.
• From the Hashkama Minyan for Simchat Torah. The early minyan will hold its annual 'potluq qiddush' on Simchat Torah morning. Everyone is asked to bring a donation of food or drink (store bought, please). The qiddush miracle is that the menu always works out without detailed signups, but feel free to email Mechael Kanovsky with any questions. 
• מהמניין המוקדם בשמחת תורה. כבכל שנה, לאחר המניין המוקדם בשמחת תורה יתקיים קידוש מנדבותיהם של המשתתפים. כולם מתבקשים להביא תרומה של מאכל או משקה (קנויים, בבקשה). נס הקידוש הוא שהתפריט תמיד מסתדר ללא צורך ברשימות מפורטות, אך הרגישו חופשי לשלוח מייל למיכאל קנובסקי במקרה ויעלו שאלות.
• Simchat Torah Divrei Torah for women. On Simchat Torah morning, we will continue the tradition started by Chaya Tannor z'l and hear two divrei Torah by women for women (one in English and one in Hebrew), while the men are repeatedly reading וזאת הברכה. We will walk to the Beit Midrash immediately after the first round of aliyot.
• דברי תורה לנשים בשמחת תורה. בבוקר שמחת תורה, נמשיך את המסורת שחיה טנור ז"ל התחילה ונשמע שני דברי תורה לנשים מפי נשים (אחד בעברית ואחד באנגלית) בזמן שהגברים קוראים שוב (ושוב) את "וזאת הברכה". נלך לבית המדרש מיד לאחר סבב העליות הראשון.
• There will be a board meeting on Wednesday Oct 25th at 8:00 PM.
• ישיבת ועד המנהל תתקיים ביום רביעי 25 באוקטובר, בשעה 20:00.
• Shiurim of the Beit Midrash Nishmat Chaya will resume after Sukkot on Tuesday October 17th כ"ז בתשרי. We would like to see more people participating in the activities of the Beit Midrash. We invite you to join us and bring friends. 
• Combined Tishrei/Cheshvan Jointly Sponsored Yahrtzeit Kiddush. The Tishrei/Chesvan JSK will be held on October 28th, Parashat Lech Lecha. To participate in the kiddush, please contact Judd Bogdansky (jbogdansky@gmail.com) no later than Sunday October 22. Participation: 150 NIS per person memorialized. Judd confirms all emails he receives; if you do not hear back, please follow up.
• קידוש משותף לימי זיכרון תשרי\חשון. הקידוש המשותף לציון ימי זיכרון (יארצייט) של חודשים תשרי\חשון יתקיים בשבת פרשת לך לך, 28 באוקטובר. אם ברצונך להשתתף נא ליצור קשר עם ג'וד בוגדנסקי (jbogdansky@gmail.com) לא יאוחר מיום ראשון, 22 באוקטובר. השתתפות: 150 ש'ח לכל שם. ג'וד מאשר קבלה לכל הודעת דוא"ל שהוא מקבל, אך היו מקרים שהודעות שנשלחו אליו לא התקבלו. ככל שלא קיבלת מענה, אנא צרו עמו קשר שוב.
• Lecture in Hebrew on the struggle against building accidents. Presented by the Rehovot Center for Social Justice. Oct 15th 2017, at the shul. Maariv 19:50, followed by lecture at 20:00.
• הרצאה מאת סרגיי אלימוב מרכז קבוצת המאבק בתאונות הבנייה במרכז לצדק חברתי ברחובות שירצה בעברית על "מגנים על הילדים שלנו מפני קריסת המנוף הבאה". המרכז לצדק חברתי הוא מרכז שפועל בשנה וחצי האחרונה במטרה לתת תשתית לכל פעילות אזרחית שמרכזה שיוויון ערך האדם. יום ראשון, כו תשרי, 15 לאוקטובר 2017. מעריב: 19:50 הרצאה: 20:00.
