Bereavement and Memorial:

• Erev limud in memory of Ami Fargeon z'l.  To mark Ami's first Yahrtzeit, we will have an evening of shiurim in his memory on Sunday evening June 19th at Bermans. Mincha at 19:10 followed by three lectures. The evening will conclude with Maariv at 21:45. The Kronengolds. Full schedule on the Noticeboard.

SHUL ACTIVITIES, EVENTS AND REMINDERS​

• Third Bellows-Kahn lecture Tuesday June 21st, Dr Uri Mor from Ben Gurion University will speak (in Hebrew) on "Differences and similarities in the Hebrew from the Judean Desert documents". Maariv at 20:05, with lecture immediately following. Detailed flier on the Noticeboard.
• הרצאה השלישית בסדרת ההרצאות קאהן בלוז מאת ד"ר אורי מור מרצה בכיר במחלקה ללשון העברית באוניברסיטת בן גוריון בנושא: שונוּת ואחידות בלשון התעודות העבריות ממדבר יהודה (בעברית). ההרצאה תתמקד בקורפוס התעודות שהתגלו במערות המפלט במדבר יהודה ובמצדה – בעיקר שטרות משפטיים ואיגרות צבאיות. יוצגו בה אופיין המיוחד של התעודות ותרומתן להכרת העברית הקדומה וחברת משתמשיה בתקופה שבין המרד הגדול למרד בר כוכבא. יום שלישי, אור לט"ו סיון תשע"ו, 21 ביוני 2016 מעריב: 20:05 שיעור: 20:10 בבית הכנסת.

• The mini minyan is seeking parent volunteers to lead t'efillah or give a Dvar Torah in the months of July and August, on weeks when our teenage leaders are on summer vacation. To volunteer please contact Elana Bogdansky at elanab121@gmail.com or 054-664-1339. 
   

HOSPITALITY and CHESED

• Families still needed to "adopt" and sponsor families and individuals studying for gerut (conversion). Adoptive families should be available to help the candidates find their way through the siddur during t'fillot in shul, and to host them periodically for Shabbat and holiday meals.
