  • Mazal Tov to Edie and Paul Linden on the birth of a grandson, a son to Chaim and Chava Yamit Linden. The community is invited to a Shalom Zachor this Shabbat at their home, Besh"t  20, third floor.

Bar/Bat Mitzva:

  • Mazal Tov to Daphna and Raphy Nudelman on the Bat Mitzva of their daughter Eden. Mazal Tov to grandparents Chasya and Avraham Nudelman, and to the entire Nudelman and Faust families. Welcome to the relatives and guests who have come to participate in the simcha.
     
  • Mazal Tov to Jennifer and Max Schrutt on the Bar Mitzva of their son Jaden. Mazal Tov and welcome to Jadens' grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins who came from Colorado and New York to celebrate the simcha. Notably, Jaden's Bar Mitzvah falls exactly on the one year anniversary of the Schrutt's Aliya!

 

SHUL ACTIVITIES, EVENTS AND REMINDERS

  • Berman’s Summer Outing for adults, July 20th - Intimate (≤15 participants) tours of two exciting new exhibits at the New Wing of Beit HaTfutsot (the Diaspora Museum) with either an English or Hebrew-speaking guide -- including our own Joel Rabinowitz! See flyer on Noticeboard for details. 9:45: Meet at museum; 10:00 – 11:30: Guided tours; 11:45: Meet for lunch (not included in price) afterwards at the on-site Aroma Cafe. Price: NIS 20 pp (Please pay in cash to Susan Rubin/Omri Flicker/Sorelle Weinstein by July 15th). Transportation not provided. **Limited to first 45 adults to sign up.** Use this sign-up sheet.
     
  • The mini minyan is seeking parent volunteers to lead t'efillah or give a Dvar Torah in the months of July and August, on weeks when our teenage leaders are on summer vacation. Parents are welcome to lead the Tefillah and give their Dvar Torah in English or Hebrew, in whichever language they are most comfortable. To volunteer please contact Elana Bogdansky at elanab121@gmail.com or 054-664-1339. Thank you to Matanya Tirosh for leading last week's mini-minyan.
