- Mazal Tov to Ayala and Eytan Meisels, on the birth of their granddaughter, Hallel, a daughter to their children Aviad and Shir Meisels. Mazal Tov as well to big sister to Talya, and to grandparents Hadass and Yishay Brown of Petach Tikva.

- Eruv tavshilin reminder. One must prepare an eruv tavshilin on Thursday (erev chag) in order to be able to cook for Shabbat during the last day of Pesach.
- Having post-seder let-down? Want to add some text/ritual to your Shvii shel Pesach meals? See link below to download a Haggada for Shvii shel Pesach, compiling well-known and little-known midrashim on Kriat Yam Suf and Shirat Hayam. The texts are provided in both Hebrew and English. - The choir will be singing one short piece this shvi'i shel Pesach - Seu Shearim just before musaf; the kahal is invited to join in (MP3 avalable on the Noticeboard). The piece is courtesy of Rabbi/Hazan Geoffrey Shissler. The choir has sung it before at the Beit HaMidrash minyan on Rosh Hashana - so many of you will be familiar with it.
- You are cordially invited to attend this year's first Kahn-Bellows lecture (on the topic of different aspects of the Hebrew language). Sunday, 30th of Nisan 5776, May 8th 2016, Prof. Chaim Cohen - Professor emeritus of Biblical Hebrew and ancient Semitic Langues. He will speak in Hebrew on: Unfaithful friends: Mistaken meanings of words and phrases in modern Hebrew. Ma’ariv: 19:50 Lecture 20:00. Details on the Noticeboard. Upcoming lectures. Sunday May 15th, Malka Puterkovsky. Sunday May 29th, Prof. Lewis Glinert - Second Bellows Kahn lecture. All at 8:00 PM. Details and topics will follow.
