SHUL ACTIVITIES, EVENTS AND REMINDERS

• *NOTE TIME CHANGE* Hashkama minyan this week (Rosh Hodesh) will start at 6:20 AM.
• The Tzeddaka Fund is starting to collect money for Maot Hittim to help needy families for Pesach. Please make your donations early and give generously, so there will be time to buy and distribute food and other holiday necessities.
• *SAVE THE DATE*  This year, once again, we are planning a Yom Ha'atzmaut "Berman Community Celebration" after T’filat Maariv (Wednesday evening, April 22, 2015). The celebration will include special programs for all ages. Details to follow in a separate mailing, coming soon.
• השנה, אנו שוב מתכננים ערב מיוחד לכבוד יום העצמעות - "חגיגת קהילת ברמן" שייתקיים לאחר תפילת מעריב בליל יום העצמאות (22.4.2015). התוכנית תכלול פעילויות מיוחדות לצעירים שבינינו ולמבוגרים שביננו. פרטים נוספים יפורסמו בקרוב במכתב נפרד.
• Minutes from the Jan 18th board meeting are available here, and materials from the AGM (including the Power Point presentation by the building committee) are here. We hope to make these available in ShulCloud in the near future.
• The Nissan Yahrtzeit Jointly Sponsored Kiddush will be held on Shabbat, Parshat Shmini (April 11, 2015) (still kosher for Pesach). To participate, please contact Rachel Schecter before Monday, March 30th.  Participation: 150 NIS.
• הקידוש המשותף לציון יארצייטים של חודש ניסן יתקיים בשבת פרשת שמיני (11 לאפריל 2015) (עדיין כשר לפסח). אם ברצונך להשתתף נא ליצור קשר עם רחל שכטר לא יאוחר מיום שני, 30 למרץ 2015. השתתפות: 150 שח.
• Please note that because Pesach Seder is on Friday night (ie a full week after shabbat hagadol), we will not be organizing communal shabbat hagadol meals this year.

• Welcome to Natan, Sarah and Amitai (21mos) Davidovics! The Davidovics family  just made aliyah from Baltimore.  Natan is a biomedical engineer and Sarah just finished her PhD.
