• Updates for Yizkor list. As the shul Yizkor lists are no longer read aloud, we are updating them to include the names of both parents of deceased members. If you are interested in such a change, please review the lists (here (women) and here (men)) to see how the name currently appears, and send missing or corrected information to bea.kriger@gmail.com.
• רשימת יזכור. לנוכח העובדה שכבר איננו קוראים בקול רם את רשימת חברינו בקהילה שנפטרו, אנו מציעים להוסיף את שמות האימהות של יקירינו ברשימה, בנוסף לשמות האבות שהופיעו מאז ומתמיד. אם אתם מעוניינים לבצע תוספת כזו, אנא בדוקו ברשימת היזכר המתאימה (נשים \ גברים) כדי לראות כיצד השם מופיע כרגע, ושלחו את הגרסה החדשה לכתובת bea.kriger@gmail.com.
• Parents are kindly asked to remind their children to behave nicely at the kiddush. The kids should not push their way to the tables, grab food from the kiddush workers, or take huge hoardes. Please supervise your kids, to help make the kiddush enjoyable for everyone.
• Those making donations to the shul are asked to refrain from giving cash, and to use either checks or direct internet transfers to our account (due to limitations in availability of [volunteer] manpower).
• Volunteer needed - bookkeeping for the shul. Anyone with a background in bookkeeping and/or knowledge of Hashavshevet bookkeeping program and who is prepared to help the Shul financial team is requested to contact Gerry Tanny. The work, which can be done by computer from home, involves entering donations into the Shul financial system, and deposits to the G'mach system.
• Anyone interested in giving divrei Torah in shul (men/women boys and girls) from Parshat Pinchas and onwards should contact Mechael Kanovsky at kanovsky@gmail.com. Additionally, those who have a simcha and would want to speak at the simcha (or reserve it for a family member or friend) should contact Mechael Kanovsky as well.
• Teenage kiddush workers needed for Shabbat mornings. Age 14 and up. Those interested should contact Judd Bogdansky at jbogdansky@gmail.com
