Births:

• Mazal Tov to Sarah and Natan Davidovics on the birth of a baby boy. Mazal Tov to big brother Amitai and to the entire family.  The community is invited to a Shalom Zachar on Fri night at 9:00 PM at the Davidovics' apartment Rechov Hershko 2/8 3rd floor. Front door will be open. Please help make their first week with a newborn a bit easier by signing up for their meal train here. Please call before bringing over food.

SHUL ACTIVITIES, EVENTS AND REMINDERS​​​

• Rav Yehezkel Babkoff's gemmara shiur on shabbat afternoon will be taking a break for the next two weeks.
   
• **LAST CHANCE TO SIGN UP** Moonlight Tiyul to Nahal Chavarim. A moonlight tiyul to Nahal Chavarim will be held on the night of Tu b’Av, July 30th, 2015, leaving Rehovot at 17:30 and returning at around 2:00 a.m.  The tiyul is suitable for all ages. Registration no later than June 25th.  For full details, please see the Noticeboard.
• טיול לאור הירח לנחל חוורים. טיול לילי לאור הירח לנחל חוורים יתקיים בליל ט"ו באב, 30 ביולי 2015.  היציאה מרחובות ב-17:30 וחזרה בערך ב-2:00 לפנות בוקר.  הטיול מתאים לכל הגילאים.  ההרשמה לא יאוחר מה-25.6.2015.  פרטים נוספים בלוח מודעות. 
   
• The third Kahn-Bellows lecture will take place on Tuesday Evening, 20th of Tamuz 5775 (July 7th, 2015) Ma’ariv: 20:00, Lecture 20:10. The lecture will be given by Dr. Ada Gebel (Lecturer at the Shaanan Academic Religious Teachers' College) who will speak in Hebrew on "Shabbat and Shmita in the religious kibbutzim during the 1930’s as test cases for ideological and halachik quandaries". שבת ושמיטה בקיבוצים הדתיים בשנות ה-30 כמקרי בוחן לשאלות של אידיאולוגיה והלכה. Details on the Noticeboard.
   
• Help wanted: The Shul is looking for a Kiddush Manager (paying job). Must have access to a car and be flexible to work as necessary during the week and on Fridays. This position is open to all ages, from after the army and up. Good organizational skills and thick skin are required. For further details, please call Rachel Schecter (054-7613892).
