• Mazal Tov to Daphna and Raphy Nudelman on the upcoming marriage of their son Alon to Shira Naor, daughter of Sima and Yossi Naor of Holon. Mazal Tov also to grandparents Chasya and Avraham Nudelman, and Carmela Karni, and to the entire extended Nudelman clan.

• We regret to inform the membership of the passing of Ruth Rosen z"l, the mother of our member Lynn Gross and the grandmother of our member Marissa Yarm. SHUL ACTIVITIES, EVENTS AND REMINDERS תזכורות, אירועים ופעילויות של בית הכנסת

• **This week!!** The first of our annual "MIX IT UP!" Shabbatot - The Berman Community has been blessed again with many new families in the last year. To help the veteran members (“vatikim”) and newcomers get to know each other, we are planning two consecutive special Shabbatot. This shabbat, we will be pairing new families with vatikim for Shabbat lunch. Next Shabbat (Nov. 18th), Shabbat Toldot, the Kiddush will be sponsored by the shul in honor of our new members. On that Shabbat, we are also planning to have name tags prepared for all members, which you may optionally affix to your clothing. Non-Berman members are invited to receive a name tag by registering here.   
• **השבוע!!** קהילתו התברכה בשנים האחרונות בהרבה משפחות חדשות. כדי לעזור לוותיקים וחדשים להכיר אלו את אלו אנו מתכננים שני אירועים בשתי שבתות ברצף. השבת אנו מחברים משפחות חדשות עם וותיקות לארוחת שבת. בשבת תולדות (18.11) הקידוש יהיה בחסות בית הכנסת לכבוד החברים החדשים. באותה שבת יחלקו תגיות עם שמות חברי בית הכנסת שניתן יהיה להדביק על הבגד. מי שאינו חבר בית הכנסת יכול לקבל תגית על ידי רישום פה.

• The AGM is coming...save the date. The annual membership meeting (AGM) will take place on Motzaei Shabbat January 20, 2018 at 8:00 PM. Materials for the meeting will be published on the "members only" page in early January.
